The faculty of additional education of the Ulyanovsk state pedagogical university continues implementation of additional professional programs in 2015: programs of professional development and professonalny retraining. The faculty of additional education is structural division of ULSPU. Activities of faculty are performed based on laws of the Russian Federation, regulations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Charter of ULSPU and Regulations on faculty of additional education.

The main objective of faculty of additional education is a satisfaction of requests of consumers (students, teachers, experts, heads of the educational organizations, other organizations and other categories of citizens) in provision of educational services within implementation of additional educational programs: additional general education programs (the additional all-developing programs) and additional professional programs (programs of advanced training, programs of occupational retraining).

Structure of faculty

Now the dean of faculty is the candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor V. V. Zarubina.

THE FACULTY CONSISTS OF TWO CENTERS:

• professional development and professional retraining (the director of the center — the candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor M. A. Fakhretdinova)

• educational prospects and innovations (the director of the center — the candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor S. V. Danilov).

The structure of a center of training and retraining of the department include office of additional professional programs (the head of department – Candidate of Economic Sciences M. A. Ryabova) and 6 subject departments: office of additional professional programs (the head of department – Candidate of Economic Sciences M. A. Ryabova) and 6 subject departments:

Department of Management and Educational Technologies (Head – the doctor of pedagogical sciences, M. I. Lukyanova),

Department of Correctional Pedagogics, healthy and safe lifestyle (Head - the candidate of pedagogical sciences T. I. Dubrova)

Department of Methodology of natural-science education and information technologies ( Head – the candidate of pedagogical sciences V. V. Sibiryov),

Department of pedagogical technologies of preschool and primary education (Head - the candidate of pedagogical sciences A.P. Mishina),

Department of standardization of professional and technological education (Head - the candidate of pedagogical sciences N.I. Nagimova),

Department of methodology humanitarian and multicultural education (Head - the candidate of historical sciences M. A. Bravina).

The structure of the center of educational prospects and innovations includes departments of perspective researches and projects (the head of department – the candidate of pedagogical sciences L. P. Shustova) and information and methodical support of development of education (the head of department – D. M. Davletshin).

Tasks of faculty are:

• organization of training in additional educational programs; educational and methodical maintenance and scientific and methodical ensuring educational process at faculty;

• promotion of educational services in educational space of the region and beyond its limits; initiation, preparation and implementation of educational projects;

• implementation of system of intercourse actions: scientific and practical conferences, creative meetings, seminars and others;

• organization of applied researches of urgent problems of development of education, additional education, implementation of grants and projects;

• assistance to development of experimental and innovative activities of the educational organizations of the region;

• generalization and forming of bank of positive pedagogical experience, preparation of scientific and methodical and publishing products;

• organization of examination of program, control and measuring, educational and methodical materials, results of scientific work, innovative and experimental activities, publishing products, etc.;

• provision of consulting services on urgent problems of development of education;

• development of social and scientific and pedagogical partnership of faculty.

The personnel structure of faculty is provided by highly qualified specialists: from 48 people of the faculty 4 have a doctor's degree and 30 – candidates of science.

Staff of faculty are trained in the leading higher education institutions of the country. So, in May, 2015 all teachers underwent corporate training in the program of advanced training "New in standard legal regulation of additional professional education", implementable State academy of industrial management of N. P. Pastukhov (Yaroslavl).
