How to apply to UlSPU using your personal account

Dear Applicant,

When submitting documents for remote admission in 2021, please use the instructions below for creating your personal account and fill out all the application forms.

Instructions

Stage 1. Please have the following prepared:

·        notarized translation of the passport into Russian;

·        notarized translation of the educational document into Russian;

·        3x4 cm photo (digital format).

Notes!

*Documents in a foreign language shall be translated into Russian and notarized.

*No translation of the educational document is required if it has been received in the Russian Federation.

*An Applicant can have the passport and educational document with copies of the provided documents translated and notarized at the address: Ulyanovsk, Ulitsa Ryleeva, 11. Telephone: 8 927 2707810.

IMPORTANT!

Educational documents issued in another state shall be legalized, unless otherwise stipulated by the International Treaty of the Russian Federation.

Educational documents issued in another state shall be submitted with a certificate of recognition of foreign education, except for cases in which, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and (or) the International Treaty, recognition of a foreign education is not required.

All the prepared documents shall be scanned or photographed in one of the following formats .pdf, .odt or .ods. The documents shall remain legible and readily identifiable.

All pages of each document shall be combined into a separate file (for example, the passport and its notarized translation into Russian in one file, the education document and its notarized translation into Russian in another, etc.).

Stage 2. Signing up

To submit documents, please create your personal account using the link http://www.ulspu.ru/

Once your registration is confirmed by the admission specialists, you will receive an email containing your login and password.

Stage 3. Setting up your profile.

Please log into your personal account, click the “Create” button in the “Profile” section, and fill out the form.

In the form, please:

1.     enter the required data;

2.     upload scanned or photographed documents (the passport and its notarized translation into Russian, as well as the educational document and its notarized translation into Russian);

3.     send for review by pressing the “Save” button.

Notes!

If you do not have a patronymic, name derived from the father, in your passport, please check the corresponding box (“V”).

Applicants document type shall always be “Passport of a Foreign Citizen”; please select it from the drop-down list.

(!) After entering the data and uploading the documents, please click the “Save” button to send everything for further verification.

This is the final stage of filling out your profile!

Step 4: Creating an application for admission.

In your personal account, please:

1. Click the “Create” button in the “Application” section.

2. Select the admission plan for which you are applying. To simplify the process, please select the admission plan specifying the form of study, program, department, source of funding, etc. in the corresponding line.

Notes!

Whenapplying for the same program on both a budget and a contract basis, please check the “Create a Copy of the Application on a Contract Basis” box, and the corresponding application will be created automatically.

3. When applying for educational programs that have elective subjects, please do as follows:

1) click “Change” in the “Entrance Examination Forms” section;

2) in the “Subject of Examination” field, select the subject that suits you most;

3) click “Save”.

4. When taking entrance exams conducted by the university independently, you can choose the form of the exam (the remote form is default). To change the form of exams from remote to exams in person, please:

1) click “Change” in the “Entrance Examination Forms” section;

2) check “In-Person Exam”;

3) click “Save”.

5. In the “Accepted Documents” section, please tick those documents that you want to upload to your personal account.

After filling out the application forms, remember to save the data!

6. At the very end of the electronic field, please upload the file of the admission application(s) in one file*.

*The application shall be submitted after your application has been processed by a technical specialist. The application shall be printed on both sides of a clean white sheet of A4 paper, signed in the required places in black or blue ink, and uploaded back to your personal account in one of the following formats: .pdf, .odt, and .ods.

If you are applying for a contract basis, download the contract template corresponding to the selected program, fill out and upload it along with the admission application. Contract templates are available on the official website of the university: https://www.ulspu.ru/abitur/cost_of_training/

Step 6. Creating an enrollment application.

If you have decided to enroll in a specific educational program, please tick the “Original of the Educational Document” and “Consent to Enrollment” checkboxes.

The flag-sign “Notarized Copy of the Educational Document” shall be placed only if applications are submitted to two programs at the same time, i.e., the original document shall be attached to the application for the first program, and the notarized copy shall be attached to another (usually on a contract basis).

At the very end of the electronic field, please upload the application form for consent to enrollment.

*The application shall be submitted after your application has been processed by a technical specialist. The application shall be printed on both sides on a clean white sheet of A4 paper, signed in the required places in black or blue ink, and uploaded back to your personal account in one of the following formats: .pdf, .odt, and .ods.

After filling out the application forms, remember to save the data!

If you have changed your intention to enroll in Ulyanovsk State University of Education, then before the admission deadlines, please make up a free-form application for refusal of enrollment, sign it, convert it into electronic form, and send it to the admission committee by email [email protected]

It is necessary that you wait for the profile and applications to be verified by a university technical specialist and monitor the status changes.

Statuses:

“Pending review” – is being reviewed and verified by a technical specialist.

“Corrections required” – wait for a call from a technical specialist or make corrections yourself if you know where the error is.

Important!

Once all the necessary corrections have been made, check the “Corrected” checkbox so that the operator can begin re-checking.

“Pending re-check” – is being reviewed and checked by a technical specialist a second time.

“Accepted”– everything is all right.
