Project Office
The Project Office of Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov is responsible for organizing and coordinating the implementation of projects and activities within the Strategic Development Program, as well as project management in accordance with the University's strategic goals.
In its activities, the Project Office directly reports to the University Rector.
The creation of the Project Office was prompted, on the one hand, by the development of UlSPU's Strategic Development Program for the period until the year 2030 and, on the other hand, by the absence of a comprehensive overview of the number of implemented infrastructural projects, their status, expended time, financial resources, and their alignment with the planned final results.
The aim of the Project Office is to establish a centralized project management system within UlSPU.
MAIN TASKS:
- Centralized project planning;
- Standardization of project management processes;
- Centralization and consolidation of project management and resources necessary for their implementation;
- Methodological and administrative support for project leaders, including training and mentoring.
KEY FUNCTIONS OF THE PROJECT OFFICE:
- Methodology development, implementation, and support for managing projects and project portfolios;
- Organization and control of the project management process;
- Formation of a project portfolio aligned with the university's strategic goals;
- Organization of training for university staff in project management fundamentals;
- Evaluation of project performance effectiveness;
- Monitoring and control of project execution;
- Analysis of best project management practices and their application.
